Pacific Northwest Global Meetings Industry Day

Space Needle | 04/06/2017

On April 6, 2017, leaders from across the meetings and events industry will come together to support the second annual Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID). GMID was started in 2016 to showcase the real power of meetings, events, conventions and exhibitions. Industry organizations and groups organized advocacy events and rallies, helped elected officials issue proclamations and championed the value of the meetings industry on social media. In fact, the #GMID16 hashtag received almost 30 million impressions and was used in almost 2,000 tweets.

This year the Washington State chapters from PCMA, MPI, HSMAI, NACE, ILEA, WSAE and Visit Seattle are working together to produce an industry breakfast followed by a day of giving back.
